BFGoodrich and Uniroyal, brands owned and operated by Michelin North America, Inc., has decided that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain BFGoodrich Commercial T/A A/S brand replacement tires and Uniroyal Laredo HD/H brand replacement tires. Michelin has elected to recall approximately 800,000 tires from the U.S. market. These tires are typically found on commercial light trucks and full size heavy duty vans.
